From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap

Discover the cities of Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, meet their inhabitant and explore their picturesque streets.

  • DAY 1. PHNOM PENH

  •  
    You will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel upon arrival, depending on your arrival time.
    In the afternoon, you will visit the Royal Palace built in 1866, the National Museum as well as Wat Phnom, one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in Phnom Penh. The National Museum is Cambodia’s main museum of History and Archaeology. This is where you will have the opportunity to find one of the largest collections of Khmer art with ceramics, sculptures and diverse objects. 
    After that, you will embark on a boat to explore the Mekong River and contemplate the sunset before going back to the hotel.
    Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
  • DAY 2. PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B)

    After breakfast, you will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former prison used during the Khmer Rouge regime. Then, you will discover the Choeung Ek Killing Field, where thousands of innocent Cambodian people were executed after being starved and tortured in the Tuol Sleng prison.
    After that, you will have the opportunity to take a walk in the Russian Market.
    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel where you will spend the night. 
  • DAY 3. SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT – ANGKOR THOM (B)

  • This day will be dedicated to the discovery of Angkor. Angkor Wat was built at the beginning of the 12th century by King Suryavarman II. As the most well-preserved temple of Angkor, it is considered as the greatest Khmer architectural work.
     
     
    In the afternoon, you will visit Angkor Thom, the royal city built by King Jayavarman VII, including the Baphuon temple, the Phimean Akas Temple, the Terrace of the Leper King as well as the Terrace of the Elephants.
    Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
  • DAY 4. SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI – SMALL CIRCUIT

  • After breakfast at the hotel, you will discover Banteay Srei, a 10th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and now widely praised as a "precious gem", or the "jewel of Khmer art."
    You will visit the Banteay Samré on your way back.
    In the afternoon, you will explore the Small Circuit, which takes in several of the major and minor temples in the area: the Ta Prohm Temple, which was built in 1186 by King Jayavarman VII and dedicated to his family, as well as the Banteay Kdei Temple.
    Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
  • DAY 5. SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP – DEPARTURE

    You will embark on a boat to explore Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. This excursion will give you the opportunity to discover a floating village as well as its inhabitants’ daily life.
    After that, you will take a stroll in the local market or in Angkor’s craft workshop before your transfer to the airport for your international flight.
