  • DAY 1. DEPARTURE

  • Departure from your country with Vietnam Airlines.

  • DAY 2. ARRIVAL IN HANOI (L, D)

  • Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our Anglophone guide and transferred to your hotel. The activities for the rest of the day will be organized depending on your arrival time. 
    Later, a cycle rickshaw will take you around the Vietnamese capital. You will be able to explore a charming and dynamic city where tradition meets modernity. Discover the Lake of the Returned Sword and visit the Ngoc Son Temple
    Overnight stay at the hotel. 
  • DAY 3. HANOI (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast, your day of Hanoi discovery will start with the visit of the captivating Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where many typical ethnic objects are exhibited such as traditional costumes, tools, musical instruments, etc. It is a place where you will discover the typical houses of the 54 ethnicities living in Vietnam (warning: the museum is closed on Mondays). 
    Your day will continue with the visit of the Temple of Literature, which was Vietnam’s first university, as well as the Tran Quoc Temple, the oldest pagoda of Hanoi. You will also get the chance to discover the One Pillar Pagoda and the inside of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
    In the evening, you will attend a water puppet show, which is a folkloric theatric representation of the daily rural life on the Red River. 
    Overnight stay at the hotel. 
  • DAY 4. HANOI – HALONG BAY (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast, at 8:00, you will be driven to Halong Bay, the Eighth Wonder of the World.  
    Upon you arrival at noon, you will board a beautiful wooden junk for an amazing 2-day-1-night cruise in Halong Bay. 
    During this cruise, you will discover thousands of limestone karts and isles in various sizes and shapes, both inhabited and uninhabited. 
    Dinner and night on the junk, in a private cabin.  
     
  • DAY 5. HALONG BAY – HANOI – HUE (B, L, D)

  • Early risers will be able to admire the sunrise on the deck while the junk cruises in this mythic bay. 
    Brunch on board before your disembarkation around 11:30. The driver will wait for you and take you to Hanoi’s airport for your flight to Hue
    Upon your arrival in Hue, you will be driven to the hotel where you will spend the night.
  • DAY 6. HUE (B, L, D)

  • In the morning, you will take a bike and cycle through the ancient imperial capital of Vietnam and explore the citadel recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. 
    The city is considered as a giant live museum thanks to its great number of its historic monuments, imperial tombs, pagodas and temples that tell the history of the country’s last feudal dynasty.
    You will continue to cycle toward the village of Phu Mong, where you will be able to admire beautiful and verdant residences built by mandarins, high-ranking bureaucrats and officials.
    You will continue to reach the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, the country’s highest pagoda which is located on the Ha Khe hill and overhangs the Perfume River. 
    After your visit, you will embark on a boat for a cruise on the majestic Perfume River, which has forever been a true inspiration for Vietnamese artists.
    Lunch on board.
    The boat will take you to the Tomb of Minh Mang, the most beautiful site in Hue. You will disembark to visit the tomb.
    After that, you will hit the road to go to the Tomb of Tu Duc. You will have the opportunity to visit a workshop specialized in the production of incense sticks and conical hats
    At the end of the day, you will go to the Tu Hieu Pagoda to attend a ceremony.
    Return to the hotel.
  • DAY 7. HUE – TAM GIANG LAGOON (B, L, D)

  • Departure for the Tam Giang Lagoon, located 30 kilometers away from Hue, in Quang Ngan.
    You will have the opportunity to discover the village through a cycle ride. Then, you will visit a pagoda as well an old traditional house.
    After that, you will discover a vegetable field where you will have the chance to help the farmers to water the lands but also to plant rice. 
    You will return to the local house for lunch. On the menu: seafood and vegetables bought at the village’s market.
    Then, you will have the opportunity to try fishing in a sampan at the heart of the lagoon. Your guide will take you to a fish and shrimp farm.
    Discovery of the lagoon’s beaches. Enjoy this moment by taking a swim in the clear water and by resting on the white sand.
    Return to Hue and dinner.
  • DAY 8. HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B, L, D)

  • Transfer to Hoi An, which was a major commercial port in Asia from the 17th to the 18th century. Its cultural and historical heritage is inestimable. 
    On the way to Hoi An, you will have the opportunity to go through the Ocean Cloud Pass that will offer you a beautiful overview of the coastline of Central Vietnam. 
    You will make a stop in Da Nang to visit the Cham Museum, which houses the world’s biggest collection of Cham pieces of art.
    Then, you will continue to Hoi An, where you will discover the Fukian Sanctuary, the Chuc Thanh Pagoda and the Japanese Covered Bridge. You will also have the chance to explore the Fukian Assembly Hall as well as the Old House of Tan Ky.
    Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
     
  • DAY 9. HOI AN – DA NANG – SAI GON (B, L, D)

  • Transfer to Da Nang for your flight to Sai Gon.
    Upon arrival you will be welcomed and transferred in the city center.
    Your day will start with the visit of Sai Gon’s famous sightseeing sites: the ancient colonial district with the Central Post Office which was designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the famous Catinat Street (the current Dong Khoi Street), the Cho Lon Market or the Ben Thanh Market
    Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • DAY 10. SAI GON – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast, take off to My Tho to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, which is the highest pagoda of southern Vietnam. What makes it so unique is its exterior architecture, which mixes Khmer, Chinese and French styles. 
    Once you are done with your visit, you will board a junk on the Tien River and will be able to discover how the local inhabitants work and feed the fishes. 
    Lunch break. 
    The barge will take you to Ben Tre to visit coconut workshops – this region’s specialty, orchards, etc. You will also have the opportunity to bike around the villages to discover the local life. 
    Your driver will then take you to Can Tho, where you will spend the night.
  • DAY 11. CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CHAU DOC (B, L, D)

  • Your day will start with a boat excursion at the Cai Rang floating market, the Mekong Delta’s most colorful and animated market. It is a place where people from all over the region come and engage in commercial activities. 
    After your visit, you will disembark and set off to Chau Doc.
  • DAY 12. CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B, L, D)

  • After crossing the border and fulfilling the formalities, you will arrive in Chau Doc where you will be welcomed by your guide and driver who will take you to your hotel.
    Lunch break. Then, you will go discover the Royal Palace, the Wat Phnom Pagoda and the Independence Monument
    Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
     
  • DAY 13. PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast at the hotel, you will discover Banteay Srei, a 10th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and now widely praised as a "precious gem", or the "jewel of Khmer art."
    You will visit the Banteay Samré on your way back and will continue toward Roluos, the first city created by the King of Cambodia.
    Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
  • DAY 14. SIEM REAP – TEMPLES OF ANGKOR (B, L, D)

  • This day will be dedicated to the discovery of Angkor, which was built at the beginning of the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII.
    The visit will start at the South Gate and you will be greeted by its famous and fascinating giant faces. Then, you will discover the Bayon and Phimeanakas temples as well as the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants
    You will return downtown to have lunch at a local restaurant. 
    After your meal, your will visit the Ta Prohm and Ta Keo Temples. Ta Phrom, Angkor’s biggest temple, was built in 1186 by King Jayavarma and is dedicated to his family. Ta Keo was built between 968 and 1001 and is 50-meter high. It is typical temple-mountain, an architectural representation of Mount Meru, the home of the gods in Hinduism.
    You will continue your visit at Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site. As the most well-preserved temple of Angkor, it is considered as the greatest Khmer architectural work.
    Dinner at a local restaurant, accompanied with an Aspara traditional show. Overnight stay at the hotel. 
  • DAY 15. SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B)

  • Day free at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your international flight.
