DAY 1. ARRIVAL IN LUANG PRABANG
You will arrive in Luang Prabang around 14:00 and be welcomed as well as transferred to your hotel by our local guide and a driver.
After lunch, you will visit the National Museum, installed in the Ancient Royal Palace. It houses the Phra Bang, a 83cm high statue covered in gold leaf and the mystical national emblem of the country, numerous statuettes discovered in the region as well as a plethora of jewelries formerly owned by the royal family.
Visit of the Wat Xieng Thong or "monastery of the golden city". It is the religious emblem of Luang Prabang and one of the highest symbols of Buddhism in Laos which was the reason why it was spared from the plunder of 1887.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2. LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU
Early in the morning, you will be able to assist to the Alms Giving Ceremony: as the sun rises in Luang Prabang around 200 Buddhist monks depart from their various temples to gather their daily meal. The tradition of alms gathering dates back to the 14th century, yet still today locals wake early to prepare the food for the monks and wait quietly by the roadside to give their gifts.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After that, you will embark on a small motorized boat to go discover the daily life of the locals living on the riverbanks. You will make a stop at the Ban Xan Hai village, which is specialized in the production of rice alcohol, the country’s most popular beverage.
You will go explore the sacred caves of Pak Ou, which houses around one hundred gilded wood Buddha statues.
Lunch in Pak Ou before returning to Luang Prabang at the end of the morning.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 3. LUANG PRABANG – SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel.
Then, you will discover Banteay Srei, a 10th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and now widely praised as a "precious gem", or the "jewel of Khmer art."
You will visit the Banteay Samré on your way back and will continue toward Roluos, the first city created by the King of Cambodia.
Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Siem Reap.
DAY 4. SIEM REAP – TEMPLES OF ANGKOR
This day will be dedicated to the discovery of Angkor, which was built at the beginning of the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII.
The visit will start at the South Gate and you will be greeted by its famous and fascinating giant faces. Then, you will discover the Bayon and Phimeanakas temples as well as the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants.
You will return downtown to have lunch at a local restaurant.
After your meal, your will visit the Ta Prohm and Ta Keo temples. Ta Phrom, Angkor’s biggest temple, was built in 1186 by King Jayavarma and is dedicated to his family. Ta Keo was built between 968 and 1001 and is 50-meter high. It is typical temple-mountain, an architectural representation of Mount Meru, the home of the gods in Hinduism.
You will continue your visit at Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site. As the most well-preserved temple of Angkor, it is considered as the greatest Khmer architectural work.
Dinner at a local restaurant, accompanied with an Aspara traditional show. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 5. SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, you will hit the road to go to Phnom Penh, where you will arrive in the early afternoon. You will have some time to settle at the hotel before departing for the visit of the Royal Palace, the Wat Phnom Pagoda and the Independence Monument.
Then, you will visit the Central Market before returning to the hotel.
Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 6. PHNOM PENH – CHAU DOC
Your day will begin with the exploration of the Silver Pagoda as well as the National Museum of Fine Arts.
After lunch, you will board a boat toward Chau Doc on the Mekong River. You will cross the fluvial border, and after completing the formalities, you will arrive in Chau Doc where you will be welcomed by the driver who will take you to your hotel.
DAY 7. CHAU DOC – NUI SAM – CAN THO
In the morning, you will visit Chau Doc and discover the Sam Mountain which houses the Temple of Lady Chua Xu, the ancient Tay An Pagoda as well as the Tomb of Thoai Ngoc Hau.
After lunch, you will hit the road to go to Can Tho. You will make a stop in Bang Lang to admire the birds returning to their nest during sunset.
Arrival in Can Tho and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 8. CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – SAI GON
Your day will start with a boat excursion at the Cai Rang floating market, the Mekong Delta’s most colorful and animated market. It is a place where people from all over the region come and engage in commercial activities.
After your visit, you will disembark and set off to Sai Gon.
Lunch at a restaurant.
Arrival in Sai Gon and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 9. SAI GON – HUE
Your day will start with the visit of Sai Gon’s famous sightseeing sites: the ancient colonial district with the Central Post Office which was designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the famous Catinat Street (the current Dong Khoi Street), the Cho Lon Market or the Ben Thanh Market.
The rest of the day is free at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel by your local guide and driver.
DAY 10. HUE
In the morning, you will visit the ancient imperial capital of Vietnam and explore the citadel recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will discover the Flag Tower, the Meridian Gate, the Phu Van Pavilion, the Palace of Supreme Harmony as well as the Forbidden Purple City.
After that, you will embark on an hour long cruise on the majestic Perfume River, which has forever been a true inspiration for Vietnamese artists.
The morning will continue with the visit of the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, the country’s highest pagoda which is located on the Ha Khe hill and overhangs the Perfume River.
Lunch break.
Visit of the Tomb of Tu Duc, the largest and most beautiful royal tomb in Hue. On the way back to town, you will make a stop in a village specialized in the production of incense sticks.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 11. HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN
Eat your breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Hoi An, which was a major commercial port in Asia from the 17th to the 18th century. Its cultural and historical heritage is inestimable.
On the way to Hoi An, you will have the opportunity to go through the Ocean Cloud Pass that will offer you a beautiful overview of the coastline of Central Vietnam.
Arrival in Hoi An at the end of the morning, check-in at the hotel and lunch.
You will be blown away by the magnificence of this city and its main points of interest: the Fukian Assembly Hall, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Old House of Tan Ky, the Museum of Trade Ceramics as well as numerous tailor shops…
Overnight stay in a hotel in Hoi An.
DAY 12. HOI AN – DA NANG – HANOI
Transfer to Da Nang for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the city center.
Later, a cycle rickshaw will take you around the Vietnamese capital. You will be able to explore a charming and dynamic city where tradition meets modernity. Discover the Lake of the Returned Sword and visit the Ngoc Son temple.
In the evening, you will attend a water puppet show, which is a folkloric theatric representation of the daily rural life on the Red River.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 13. HANOI
After breakfast, your day of Hanoi discovery will start with the visit of the captivating Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where many typical ethnic objects are exhibited such as traditional costumes, tools, musical instruments, etc. It is a place where you will discover the typical houses of the 54 ethnicities living in Vietnam (warning: the museum is closed on Mondays).
Your day will continue with the visit of the Temple of Literature, which was Vietnam’s first university, as well as the Tran Quoc Temple, the oldest pagoda of Hanoi. You will also get the chance to discover the One Pillar Pagoda and the inside of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

DAY 14. HANOI – HALONG BAY
After breakfast, at 8:00, you will be driven to Halong Bay, the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Upon you arrival at noon, you will board a beautiful wooden junk for an amazing 2-day-1-night cruise in Halong Bay.
During this cruise, you will discover thousands of limestone karts and isles in various sizes and shapes, both inhabited and uninhabited.
At the end of the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to attend a cooking class on board.
Dinner and night on the junk, in a private cabin.
DAY 15. HALONG BAY – HANOI – DEPARTURE
Early risers will be able to attend a 30 minute long Tai Chi class.
Your morning will continue with the visit of the Sung Sot Cave, also known as the “Cave of Surprises”. It is considered as one of the most beautiful grottoes in the world.
Have lunch on the junk before you disembarkation around 11:30. You will then hit the road to go back to Hanoi. You will make a stop to visit the But That Pagoda, which houses the biggest Avalokiteśvara statue with one thousand eyes and a thousand arms.
Arrival in Hanoi and transfer to the airport for your international flight.
