From Cai Be to Can Tho - 2 days
Day 1: CAI BE – TRA ON
Arrival at the Mekong delta by the end of the morning. Boarding on a junk which will take you to a sumptuous traditional house, old imperial residence; where the descendants of the Kiet family will welcome you to make you discover the beautiful interior and the garden. The tea will be offered, accompanied by tropical fruits.
Direction to craft villages, where rice and coconut products are made: rice liquor, puffed rice cakes, rice paper, coconut milk sweets ...
Boarding on the Cochinchine, and be welcomed by the staff who will give you a cocktail. Lunch on board to the Co Chien river. During the cruise, you will see beautiful and authentic landscapes. During the afternoon, go for a walk, or ride a bike on trails through villages. You will discover orchards and the day to day life of the inhabitants. The boat will continue to Tra On. The appetizer will be offered on the upper deck and you will watch the sunset. Dinner and night on board.
Day 2: TRA ON – CAN THO
An early morning awakening will allow you to savor magnificent moments on the Mekong River: the singing of birds but also its barge traffic, small craft of fortune. The breakfast will be served on board, and the boat will continue to Can Tho, where you will visit the floating market of Cai Rang and also green orchards.
Run-of-river, le boat will take you to the Cai Rang market, one of the most famous market in Mekong. There are a lot of barks with fruits and vegetables.
Boat ride along shady coves by palms. You will discover beautiful orchards, local houses, shipbuilding yards and the maritime activity. You will also visit a noodles and vermicelli factory.
Return and landing at 11am. End of the cruise.
