From Can Tho to Cai Be - 2 days
Day 1: CAN THO – TRA ON
Around midday, you will board on the Cochinchine, and be welcomed by the staff who will give you a cocktail. You will be transferred on a local boat to discover the Cai Rang floating market, the biggest of the region.
After your visit, you will return to the boat direction Tra On.
Lunch on the Cochinchine, where you can admire beautiful landscapes of this aquatic region.
During the afternoon, you will go for a walk (or with a bike) on trails lined with greenery. Some stops are planned to discover the lifestyle of the inhabitants and their work in orchards or green rice fields. Return on the boat for a relaxing moment. You can watch the beautiful sunset on the Co Chien river with a cocktail.
Dinner and night on board, near Cai Be.
Day 2: TRA ON – CAI BE
Breakfast on board and continuation to Cai Be. At your arrival at Cai Be, you will board on a sampan to explore the floating market of Cai Be.
After that, you will walk through the lush vegetation of the area to visit the villages and discover the local crafts: factories of rice alcohol, coconut sweets, puffed rice or rice paper.
Visit of a sumptuous traditional house, old imperial residence; where the descendants of the Kiet family will welcome you to make you discover the beautiful interior and the garden. The tea will be offered, accompanied by tropical fruits.
Walk through the arroyos around Cai Be.
Landing at 10:30am. End of the cruise.
