Motorbike in Ha Giang
The Ha Giang motorcycle loop will become your favorite trip throughout Vietnam. If you have a strong wanderlust, it is a must-do. Located in the Northern Vietnam, Ha Giang province is east of Sapa and north of Hanoi. The epic loop meanders along endless limestone mountains over terraced rice paddy valleys, through Hmong tribe villages, and into charming little towns. This trip take around 3-5 days (according to the itinerary).
Dong Ba market in Hué
The imperial City and Nguyen dynasty tombs are spectacular. Dong Ba market is located along the perfume river. Walk around the market and you will discover amazing street foods for 2 or 5$. Choose the one that give you the most desire. Just sit and eat. It is very tasty!
Hang Mua in Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh is an industrial city between Phong Nha-Ke and Hanoi with little to offer. The city itself is a bit sad, but the nature that is around is very beautiful. You do not need more than one day in Ninh Binh, but a trip in Hang Mua well worth a visit. Above the Mua cave, 500 stairs will take you to an amazing view. The stairs are steep and can be difficult in the heat, but the trek is really not too long. On the top, a little temp offers 360 degrees view on mountains, rivers and on farming lands.
Ba Be national park
Ba Be national park is located in Bac Kan province in Northern Vietnam. In the park, there is a lake, a mountain lake open throughout the year. There are some activities like a boat tour in a cave, to a waterfall, kayak and trekking. Bo Lu and Pac Ngoi are small villages located on the lake’s shore, they offer short stays at low prices for travelers. Be ready to sacrifice your comfort to see this park.
