It is located in the Cầu Giấy District, about 8 km from the city center. It will cost you 40.000 VND to enter. Be careful, the museum is closed every Mondays. It opens from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

You will have the opportunity to discover the culture and ritual practices of the different ethnic groups located in Vietnam. The main attraction of the museum is in the garden at the back, where you can find real size houses of some of the ethnic groups, which even come with inhabitants in costumes. The explanations in the museum are available in 3 different languages: Vietnamese, French and English. You can access to the museum with the bus no.14 or with a taxi.

In the museum, you will discover how ethnic groups hunt, dress or live in general. You could also see how some of them they use elephants in everyday life; the way they hunt them, they capture them, and how they train them. We can compare the way they use elephants to the way European people used horses or cows before.
